Review by hotel critic
As an archaeologist who thrives on cultural experiences, my recent stay at Lagos Village offered a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood just a 5-minute walk from the captivating town center and Dona Ana Beach, this property impressed me with its modern and clean rooms, complete with a kitchenette—ideal for enjoying a relaxed breakfast while reminiscing about my explorations. Upon arrival, we were greeted with outstanding hospitality, which set the tone for our holiday. The friendly staff even provided us with beach umbrellas and extra towels, enhancing our convenience as we explored the local coastline. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the swimming pool, providing an option for refreshing dips when the coastal winds offered a brisk alternative. Amidst the historical echoes of Lagos and the warm sun on our backs, we found ourselves effortlessly content. For those curious souls looking to explore the hidden beauty of this region, the front desk offers trip arrangements to secret grottoes and kayaking adventures, making it a great choice for wanderers like myself and my companions. Lagos Village is a delightful choice for anyone seeking tranquility with a touch of adventure—truly a wonderful escape into the heart of the Algarve.
